  • Make sure you know the top five products and services that you offer.  Understand, clearly, the most popular features and be prepared to discuss them.


  • Understand, based upon knowing your customer through questions, the benefits of these products that will appeal to them (i.e.  save money, save time, make money, provide convenience, provide security).


  • Ask the customer to move forward once solutions are presented.  The customer is going to say “Let’s move forward.”   YOU are going to say “Let’s go ahead and get the paperwork going.
